This is kind of an odd log cabin down in SW Minnesota. It is probably a difficult one to preserve as a log cabin. It is 2 parts – an approximately 14ft x 16ft small oak logs portion and an 9ft x 11ft large elm Log addition. It dates back to the late 1800s and had been used until a year or so ago. As with many log cabins, the logs were hidden inside modern looking walls.
Those elm logs are amazingly big — as much as 21in tall. The sad reality is that this place will probably make a furniture and mantels than a re-usable structure.
Installation: In most cases, no special and expensive brackets are required — just some lag screws. Take a look at our mantel installation tips.
Our website here only contains a small number of all of the mantels that we have in stock. Please contact us via email at email@example.com or call 612-281-9330 for a list of more mantels that are available. We are a small mom-and-pop shop and don’t usually find enough time to update this list. We have nearly 100 finished mantels and another almost 500 unfinished pieces in stock at any time that can be viewed with other links.
