This cabin is approximately 16’3” x 28’ and is a short two story cabin. All the logs were coped which means they were fitted so close there was only sphagnum moss was needed between the logs and NO chinking. The logs show very little weathering because it appears to have been covered with clapboard soon after it was build. It had a small kitchen addition added soon after indoor plumbing was invented but that part did not have log walls on the second floor. There are nice hewn 6×8 loft floor joists which is where we found a family of raccoons when we took it down. Too bad this cabin was not named the Coon Valley.
