History – This beam hails from an early 1900s barn near New Germany, Minnesota — a region steeped in immigrant heritage, surrounded by towns like New Ulm, Hamburg, and Green Isle that wear their Old World roots with pride. Supporting the barn in the basement milking parlor, it was never meant to be the star of the show. But after hours of careful sanding, brushing, and cleaning, it’s had a remarkable second act. We were fortunate enough to get a few photos of the barn before it came down, and now this piece is ready to anchor your home for generations to come.
