"This is the real thing. Barn wood that's seen decades of rain, wind, and sunshine. Barn colors and conditions vary greatly -- there's weathered gray, weathered red, silver gray, and barn red. We do get white, yellow, and a few other colors on occasion, but the big red barn was the standard around here.Generally, the siding is some various species of pine; however, Douglas Fir does pop up from time to tine.
All of of material is kiln treated and dried. We cut out rot and other major imperfections. With paneling, some cracks may remain. We also recommend that you plan to use baton boards to cover the seams or plan to remove the baton ""scars"" where the batons once were."
