This material was a real treat. We were playing around one day and decided to plane a piece of barn siding. It turns out, that if you have the right touch and do it just right, this material is spectacular. When planed just right, we remove most of the paint, except for a bit in the cracks. It produces a look with much more character and old charm. A few coats of oil-based polyurethane warms up the color nicely. Note products in the paneling section are not suitable for flooring. They will have more unstable cracks and knots. The flooring material is higher quality and slightly higher priced.
