While we get a fair amount of wormy maple, it's much less common to get a nice clean maple.
This batch is from 2x6 material and has excellent warm patina -- much, much better than you'd get from any modern wood.
Maple is known for it's very light color. Not this stuff. The warm amber is just great. On the 4th picture down, you can see the nice tight growth rings. The last picture shows a nice little batch that will make 1-2 tables. It's a nice 8-11ft batch; get it while it lasts.
