 Sorry, this one is sold. But, we'd be happy to make another one like it. While each piece of wood is unique, there are certain commonalities depending on species, the original building, and the type of cut. When people say "patina" this is what they're talking about. The deep dark color on this old log cabin beam is 100% natural, aged over time. No stain used here. The finish is a clear semi-gloss, oil-based polyurethane. The end grain shows how the color has saturated into the wood. The deep cracks as well as the original ax marks add great character. The woodworker is an old gent named Gary Kaufmann.
