 Sorry, this one is sold. But, we'd be happy to make another one like it. We get great wood into our shop and have a good eye for what can make an interesting mantel. Another great mantel by Gary Kaufmann. He took the original hand hewn white oak piece and began to sand. He sanded and sanded, and sanded some more. After a bit, he revealed some great white oak color along with a big hole and some white oak heart wood color. The hole has flowing curves and adds a great deal of interesting character. This is one of those things that people don't understand until they see the finished product. This one is heavy -- up near 200 pounds, but it is handsome. It would make any fireplace proud.
