 Here's a basic table with fantastic color. The auborns, browns, and blacks of the old reclaimed Red Oak are stunning. These pictures absolutely do not do this table justice (infact, new pictures are forthcoming). The old Red Oak was reclaimed from the floor joists from an old log cabin. The have a deep rich patina that we just don't get all of the time. The circle saw marks show through as the table was hand sanded with orbital sanders to get just the right look -- not too deep, not to shallow. The legs are bolted in with original barn bolts. The finish is a hard rubbed wax finish. The wood is very touchable. There's no plastic jacket here... just a very real natural feeling surface.
