 This fireplace mantel was a collaboration between Kevin Coffel of Antique Woodworks and Steve Howell of Ballard Forge. Kevin provided a pair of 5in x 6in x 6ft reclaimed oak beams that had been joined together, sanded, and finished. Steve hand forged functional, yet decorative, iron straps reminiscent of the stylings of Greene and Greene. The oak has a wonderful natural patina. The ironwork has a great hand-forged patina with beeswax finish. The final size is 5in x 12in x 6ft. Note, we price these at $100/LF in length for the wood part and $400 for the metal straps. We'll cover the cost of the transport from Mpls to Seattle, but the customer pays shipping from Seattle to their home.
