 This is an original oak barn beam with original mortise holes. They have been carefully filled with white oak plugs to show off the great old grain on some of this wood. This one has a nice natural color as well as some tree-like edges. Normally, we'd price this at $500. This mantel runs for $350. It's done by our 12-year-old son. He gets the money on this one. I oversaw it, and it looks great. I really like this one.
